Life’s one and only certainty

I have received the same writing advice from many experienced authors. When writing, they suggest one should never start with the beginning of the work. Instead, start with the ending. The only way to make sense of the entire project is know where you are ultimately going.

As we peer into the future, only one thing is absolutely certain in life. We will die. Nothing else is guaranteed. It stands to reason, then, the Bible would encourage us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom (Ps 90:12).

Consider the end. Then, evaluate life backwards.
