Why I Hate Religion But Love Jesus

This video was passed along to me by a friend and, while it may be somewhat controversial, I’d love to hear your initial thoughts. It reminds me of the story in John chapters eight and nine where the religious leaders tossed Christ out of the temple, brought the formerly blind man into the temple, and then tossed him back out again.
Needlessly to say, self-righteousness can be and is a problem in many churches. We are sometimes guilty of tossing God’s people and even Christ, in a sense, out of our places of worship.
The question I have for you once you’ve watched and pondered this video is: What are some of the examples of bad religion and/or self-righteousness you’ve witnessed in churches before?
