Mad Obama Disease (MOD) in Elkhart, Indiana

So, Barack Obama is but twenty minutes from here speaking at Concord High School in Elkhart, Indiana. The Mad Obama Disease (also known as MOD) has hit my doorstep. I watched the “professional” journalists on the local news swoon over his second coming (no pun intended) to this area. It has been ridiculous.

People lined up through the night to be sure to get tickets for the town hall event on Monday. I even had one of Obama’s loony followers sending me pictures of the line he was standing in. Just a few minutes ago, I got another picture on my cell phone of the large crowd gathering in the school’s gymnasium. They are only minutes away now from seeing their supposed savior, Barack Obama.

Some seem to think Obama is planning on making a Vice Presidental decision before the Olympics start which is this Friday. I hear Evan Bayh will sharing the stage with him in Elkhart today. Hmm…Do I hear wedding bells for the happy couple?

I don’t care a thing about his VP choice at this point though. I’m worried about the nation. This MOD is getting serious. A local Obama volunteer said, “It’s really exciting, I’m part of the change, love to be part of the change, that’s why I volunteer.” Oh, come on! What change? Do you know what the man’s been saying? Have you managed to grasp anything from his shallow speeches and the bias news? I pray you get some nugget of wisdom this morning that will snap you out of it, lady.

I have never quite understood the falling-all-over of celebrities that people do, but especially not in the case of Obama. Where’s the talent? At least, Bon Jovi and the musical artists of the world have their songs. Getting as crazy and emotional and obsessed as people do over Obama is just pure insanity! He has no talent. He’s not even naturally good at giving speeches. Without a teleprompter or a rehearsed speech, he’s a fumbling idiot with absolutely nothing to say (there’s a change I can believe in).

So what does he have? Does he have fantastic policies that are finally going to save our wallets from the misery they are in? NO! In fact, it’s quite the contrary. He’s going to strain us more and more and more if he has his way. Is he going to keep Bush’s fantastic track-record going of no more terrorists attacks in the country? Doubtful. Well, I shouldn’t say that. Maybe he can just call up some of his buddies and ask them to politely avoid killing any of us while he’s in office. Good grief.

I just cannot understand it. How are so many so insane for this man? He’s just a man. He’s an arrogant, no-talent, ordinary guy. He’s been friends with America-hating preachers and terrorist leaders. He’s lied and flip-flopped. He’s been as un-American as I have ever seen any other major Presidential candidate be. He refused to wear an American flag pin, for crying out loud! Why? Well, his great reason was he didn’t want to or think he should have to. I imagine our soldiers throughout history are grateful they made that kind of freedom possible for him.

Don’t get me started on his arrogance. The speeches, the new “Presidential” symbol he’s made for himself, the painting his own symbol over the American flag on the tail of jet, and the redesign plans of the White House he already has are all small glimpses into this guy’s head and how puffed up he really has become. The man is believing his own hype (pride cometh before the fall).

I’m sorry, Barack. I’m sorry Obamanites. I see through the glamor. There are no chills running up my spine when I see the man. I am not inspired by the speeches. He’s a Presidential candidate with potentially a very serious job ahead of him. Would you be okay with Axel Rose running the country? I wouldn’t either. So why would you vote for Obama? As it stands, all the man is convinced me of is that he puts on one heck of a show.

Are there any doctors out there working on a cure for MOD, by chance?

“There are no chills running up my spine when I see the man.”

I have them, but only the scared to death for this nation type. I do not believe in all this left behind garbage, but this reminds me of their idea of one supreme anti-Christ, that everyone falls all over who is dripping with evilness.

I do have to say though, that I think if McCain were to come around here, there would be extensive press coverage of his visit as well. It’s been 40 years or so since an honest to goodness Presidental Candidate made an official campaign stop here in the Elkhart area, so it was exciting. It would have been exciting if it were McCain as well. I would have went to see him too.

It’d be a good idea for McCain to stop in the area. We are in the center of an economic crisis with this being the heart of RV country.
