I have got to share with you an email I received this past Friday. “Obama McCain Comparative Chart” was in the subject line (no doubt a reference back to this previous post). That post wasn’t even opinionated. It was straight from McCain and Obama’s websites. The original email:
You just like the white guy… c’mon be honest. It’s okay. I’ve dealt with ‘you people’ all my life.
I had to respond:
That’s funny, man. How did you draw that conclusion about me?
His reply:
A blind man could see that… sheesh. Enjoy your neocon rep.
I have never been so flattered. Apparently, he didn’t read my “Voting With Emotion” post. Before I could reply again, I received this also:
BTW, ‘you people’ make me sick…
I responded:
Alright, alright. Since you are far less bias and bigoted than I am, why don’t you tell me why Obama is the better choice.
I have not heard back from Mr. Mark Brewster and I doubt I will.
Did I tell you that Mark Brewster is my alias?
I should have known.
It is very amusing that his use of “you people” is just as bad if not worse than what he is accusing you of.
It’s like when someone accuses a person of being judgmental. That only makes the accuser judgmental.
