Have you seen Barack Obama’s birth certificate floating around the Internet? As it turns out, it’s a fake. As far as I know, no one has actually seen his real birth certificate. Of course, that begs the question: Was Barack even born in the United States?
You see, in order to be president you have to meet two very specific qualifications. First, you must be at least 35 years old. Second, you have to have been born in the United States. I’m sure there will come a day when liberals start attacking even that part of the Constitution in attempt to evolve this country with the times, but as it stands now, Mr. Obama should require some proof that he is a natural-born citizen of the US of A. Wouldn’t that be an interesting twist in the 2008 Election Saga if Mr. Obama was not even qualified to be president?

This is actually pretty funny as well, because there is some question as to whether or not Senator McCain even fits the qualification of “natural born”. He was born on a Military Installation in the Panama Canal Zone – not exactly our home turf, eh? Since no one really knows what is meant by “natural born citizens” anymore, I guess they’re just gonna let him continue to race without even questioning it. But geez, if you are concerned about where Barack was born, I guess its only fair to bring up the fact that McCain might not actually be a natural born American citizen in the same way.
Barack, by the way, was born in Honolulu, HI, in 1961. AFTER it became a state. He most definitely meets the standards for Natural Born. As far as McCain? Well, I guess since the media hasn’t bothered to pick up and run with where HE was born, he’s fine too.
And why are you calling for Barack to “require” proof. You certainly aren’t forcing McCain to – in fact, proving that McCain was a natural born citizen would take a court case, and a resolution by congress to count, after the fact, the panama canal zone as US soil. So I guess you’d better not bring it up too much, in case someone notices what’s going on with McCain and FOX news picks it up. Then, you’re in big trouble. :)

I didn’t actually know that about McCain and don’t really care if it’s brought up. The same rules apply to him as Obama. I only mentioned Obama because of a fake birth certificate floating around. My question is: Why? It would be even better if both candidates were not natural-born citizens. This would officially be the craziest election ever.

The libs like to blow smoke, The law is very clear. If both your parents are born in this countyr, it does not matter where you were born, you are american. Otherwise a vacation could change a kids life, relative to their brothers and sisters.
The technicalities come in where there is only 1 parent born in the country, such a Obama. Then a kid needs to be born here to be president, and the parent must not just be here for a vacation. The rules require residency, which does not seem to be there for Barrack Hussein Obama! NEXT!
